Drafting Table Brewing Company brings some outstanding craft beers and a spacious gathering location to the little town of Wixom.

Located just off the corner of Pontiac Trail and Wixom Road is where you can find Drafting Table Brewing.

When you walk inside, the bar staff are quick to welcome you with a smile. Drafting Table Brewing is a big place. There are many different seating options from a spot at the bar to high-top and traditional tables through out. No matter how many people you want to drag along for a beer, they have you covered. There is also a small stage where local music acts showcase their work. A fun fact, the bar at Drafting Table is made from reclaimed wood that was processed and installed by our friends at Tree Purposed.

Another fun fact is that Drafting Table Brewing was on our favorite local beer show; Pure Brews America.

The Beer

The focus at Drafting Table Brewing is the beer and it is delicious. We had the Rezolute IPA at the Detroit Fall Beer Fest this year. The wonderful citrus aroma and delightful taste of this beer is what sparked our visit to the pub. We ordered up a couple of flights which included the Oktoberfest, Orbital Shift Black IPA, IPL, Morning Hator, Drei-Hopped DIPA, and Project Rezinous: Falconer’s Flight.

All of these were fine beers with the nut and coffee goodness of the Morning Hator doppelbock and the seductive Drei-Hopped DIPA being standouts for us. 

While the pub does not serve their own food (other than some snacks) they are located conveniently to many local restaurants. They also have an occasional food truck or pop-up event. Check their events page for details.
