If the dazzling sunshine was the appetizer and beer the main course, then the impromptu line dancing was the dessert at the 7th Annual Southern Michigan Winter Beer Festival. Thanks Experience Jackson for the press pass! We had a great time.

Southern Michigan Winter Beer Festival 2017

Festival proceeds support the 4H and Open Class Exhibitors at the Jackson County Fair. That should put a smile on everyone’s face!

Line Dancing

Pro Dj’s was spinning tunes. He had the crowd fired up.  

Huge Crowd

This wasn’t Jackson County Fairground’s first rodeo! The event drew a nice crowd. It was a well organized event. And most important, the lines moved quickly.

Beer

The festival offered over 150 craft, specialty and import beers. There was something for everyone with a fine selection of Michigan beers being represented. Latitude 42 was sporting their super groovy artwork.  

Sunshine

The weather was nearly perfect on Saturday. Ok I’ll admit. I was hoping for 50 degrees. But for March, it was lovely.

Volunteers

A special shout out to the volunteers who showed up and poured on Saturday. Everyone was exceptionally friendly and made sure you got your beer quickly with a perfect pour.

And I thought I would be the only one wearing a Dark Horse hat. You know that feeling when you show up for a party and someone else has the exact same shirt. Yep, you know what I’m talking about.
