Little Sable Point Lighthouse in Mears Michigan
Standing tall on Lake Michigan’s shore is Little Sable Point Lighthouse and it is a beauty. We caught the lighthouse bug last summer during our romp about Michigan. It is highly contagious. After you tour one, you’ll find yourself scanning the beach for the familiar beacon.
Quincy Mine Tour in Hancock Michigan
Just north of Hancock, Michigan in the heart of the Keweenaw Peninsula is the Quincy Mine. It’s been closed over 70 years, but tours are available. During our 2017 Michigan Tour, Chuck convinced me it was time to slay my fears and journey nearly one mile into the side of a hill and explore a bit of history.
2018 Winter Beer Festival
The 2018 Winter Beer Festival was the same wonderful festival, just postponed for a week. There were new faces in the crowd and just a few less breweries because of the date change.
