The premiere party for the Dark Horse Nation television series on the History channel was just as you would expect any Dark Horse Brewing party; bigger and better than the last one.
Dark Horse Nation – The Premiere
Being members of the Dark Horse Nation and feeling that we can call many of the fine folks at Dark Horse Brewing our friends, we felt like we just had to make the drive out to Marshall, Michigan. Besides, you hardly have to twist are arms to get us out there to enjoy a beer and some grub.
As with any Dark Horse event, you can expect the hard working folks at the brewery to provide you with a hell of a good time. For the premiere, they had big screens and a red carpet for patrons to get their pictures taken and feel like celebrities.
By the look of the long line and many dressed up people, I’d say it was a hit. A nice touch to make sure all of us felt like part of the gig.
The Nation is You
Just before the show got under way, Aaron, Wiggs, Chappy, Cabe, and Whacky got up front to say a few words. Something that came through is how much they appreciate all of us. You can sense this anytime you visit Dark Horse. They know many of their customers by name and make a point of saying hello and asking you how you are doing. This is true for all the people who work at Dark Horse.
I find that the Dark Horse Nation is a state of mind. To me its a sense of working hard, having fun, doing what you say you will do, and being good to people.
Show Time
Just in the nick of time, they got the projectors around the pub rolling and the Dark Horse Nation was on. It was a bit surreal to see our buddies from Dark Horse up on the big screen. I’m really hoping they don’t vote that Wiggs guy off the island. Oh wait, different show!
Dark Horse Nation is going strong and the show was a real treat. It gives you an inside look at the hard work and play that provides us all with great beer and good times.
