Falling Down Beer Company

We took a little trip to Warren, Michigan to see what was up (pun intended) at Falling Down Beer Company. Happily, we found great beer and superb food in a very unpretentious setting.

Falling Down Beer Company – More than meets the eye

When you see the sign for Falling Down Beer Company you may think you are at the wrong place. I’m pretty sure the brewery is located in what was a fast food joint. If anything the austere outside adds to the charm of the place.

Inside you’ll find a nice bright open space to sit back, watch the game and enjoy a beer (or two, or three).

Super Tasty Beer

Speaking of beer, it is outstanding! Being pale ale fans, we went for the flight of Ninja Chicken, Blood Orange IPA, Suburban Home IPA, and Pale Rider (double). Each beer was great. We really loved the Blood Orange and Ninja Chicken.

I can be a bit juvenile, so it was with a big grin that I asked for a Nice Beaver. It was what you’d expect from an English Brown; smooth and easy. The price was right too.

FOOD!

The menu looked pretty good. Our friends order up the chicken and pulled pork sandwiches. They received gigantic platters of food. The verdict was that everything tasted fantastic.

As Brenda, Stephanie, and I crept down the aisle, a cool breeze tussled my beard and the hairs on my neck started to rise. We’d been told to beware of entering this place. It was said a black terror lurked within. Yet it was the sound of a violin that coyly called us. We rounded a corner and screamed! A vicious werewolf bearing a mouthful of daggers and claws like razors stood before us with a violin in hand. We stood in horror, sure that our end was near. The wolf man howled and we nearly lost our scenes. He then walked toward us and said…”Hey, you guys want a beer?”
